Welcome to this year’s Chief Joseph Days Rodeo Celebration.

I’m Doris Noland, CJD President for the 71st Annual Chief Joseph Days Rodeo.

It is my honor to tell you about one of the most popular attractions in Wallowa County, Oregon.
Five eventful days draw thousands of visitors to this beautiful valley we call home.

It is truly is a privilege to be saddled up and leading the way for this long time Wallowa County tradition.
As in any organized event, it takes many volunteers to pull off a successful venue and I’m happy to say we have an active Board of Directors who are each responsible for up to six committees.

It requires a lot of dedication and personal time spent to making sure every one is ready for every attraction that our rodeo offers.
The volunteers who give of themselves to help are very much appreciated , because we know Chief Joseph Days Rodeo could not happen without them.

So whether you are here for the heart pounding PRCA rodeo action, observing the heritage of the Native Americans, enjoying the parades, participating in the TETWP Campaign, shopping, or just to enjoy our beautiful scenery and pristine landscape, you are guaranteed to have a memorable time during the week of the 71st Annual Chief Joseph Days Rodeo .

Experience first hand why we were chosen as one of the top 10 must see rodeos.
Get ready to Feel the Thunder and enjoy the “Rodeo with a View”; you will be glad you came.

Sincerely,  Doris Noland
