The jimmy bivens Band, long time Wallowa County favorites, are going to be performing live at this year’s Chief Joseph Days Coronation following coronation of CJD’s 68th Queen.

Tickets for the Coronation Dinner are $27 (includes cover charge for dance), $5.00 for dance only (doors open after coronation) and are available at the Joseph Community Center, Sports Corral in Joseph, and Community Bank in Joseph, Enterprise, and Wallowa.

The 2nd Tryouts and Queen Coronation for the 68th Chief Joseph Days Court is coming up on April,27, 2013.

The 2nd Tryouts, and the final riding competition, will give CJD’s three royal ladies Bailey Dutcher, Shai Allen and Sarah Kunkle another chance to show off their riding skills at the Harley Tucker Rodeo Grounds, in the morning of  Saturday at 11 a.m.

The event is open to the public.

The Queen’s coronation is based on three different categories: Riding, speaking, and ticket sales.

Coronation Dinner follows the 2nd Tryouts at the Joseph Community Center starting with social hour at 6 p.m, prime rib dinner at 7 p.m, followed by the Queen Coronation at 9 p.m.
