Queen Kylie Willis and Princess Emily Ketscher broke the all time record in selling tickets before coronation. Their commission checks for this year’s 67th Annual Chief Joseph Days totaled $8,703.90. Kylie earned a check of $4,746.90, and Emily earned a check for $3,957.

Selling tickets is one of three parts in the competition to become Chief Joseph Days Queen.
This year’s recipients of the “Chief Joseph Days Scholarship $1000 SCHOLARSHIP” awarded to one senior student of each High school in Wallowa County are Baylee Shelton of Lostine (Wallowa High), Brooke Greenshields of Enterprise, and Trevor Lewis of Joseph.

Baylee Sheldon from Lostine (Wallowa High School) plans to attend Oregon State University to study pediatric physical therapy, Trevor Lewis, Joseph, plans to go to NW Limeman College to enroll in Journey Lineman Electrician, and Brooke Greenshields, Enterprise, will attend Oregon State University on a journey to become a veterinarian.
